ABOUT US

I know NFT projects normally use this area for other serious stuff but this is pretty much going to be a short inception story of the project 🖤.The Loiter Squad is a streetwear inspired NFT project that is being built with the goal of creating one of the first true cut & sew clothing brands tied to an NFT project and built with the power of blockchain technology. We the founders have always been fashion enthusiasts, I (Chika, who is writing this) have been into fashion from a young age, getting introduced to it with brands like Supreme, Bape, Stüssy etc. and eventually diving into the world of archive fashion with brands like Undercover, Number (N)ine and Kapital. It has always been a dream of mine to start my own clothing line, keeping the traditional methods of archival fashion and merging it with a newer streetwear influence and after getting consumed by the crypto world in 2019 and falling in love with Blockchain technology (especially NFT’s), the idea of somehow marrying the two to create something special suddenly became appealing to me. It only started off as a wild idea but after talking to my partners who are NFT enthusiasts as well and teaming up with the talented artist @skech3r who is also into fashion and talking to suppliers and manufacturers etc. this wild idea rapidly inched closer to reality and after a few months of planning, an NFT project was born – With the power of the Cardano community, fingers crossed this dream becomes a reality🤞…

‘Supreme Leader’ (I insisted on this title) – Fashion/Crypto enthusiast. Got into CNFT’s early after stumbling upon a project called Spacebudz that was minting – ever since trading NFT’s has been a ‘bad habit’.

‘Artist‘ – Dabbled in the crypto/NFT space a bit but definitely a supporter. Work speaks for itself – talented artist, fashion enthusiast, all round great guy. 

Chisom

‘Vault Manager’ – Crypto fundamentalist – Strongly believe in the power of blockchain technology and the future of cryptocurrency. Have also been involved in the CNFT community since mid 2021 and fell in love with it completely. Studying Business Management currently and will also be handling the community vault.

Feitan

‘Community Mod’ – Stocks and Crypto/NFT enthusiast – entered the world of investing out of boredom and a way to pass time, ended up being hooked by it and naturally got into NFTs as well by extension – project was brought to me by Chika, everything clicked and the Loiter Squad was born.

Yes, Royalties will be set at 5% to support further development of the project

There will be no set Roadmap to enable flexibility and quality execution by the team which is essential to what we are trying to build here – however, you will not be left in the dark and our aims will be stated further in the Whitepaper as well as in our Discord server where our progress will be shown.

Short answer, Yes – many of the perks are detailed in our whitepaper, however some will come by way of surprise.

No, the project is capped at 500 and there will never be any more NFTs on this policy ID – there will also be no further releases or 3D versions of the project. Nonetheless, there will be 100 Loiter ID’s and a very limited collection of our Comic book on separate policy ID’s.

Up to 5 per transaction – No limit on transactions per wallet.

There will be no official rarity chart, each Loiterer is unique in its own way.

Whitelist will generally be chosen carefully by the Team – some will be given out through contests and through being an active member of the OG community and others will be handed out at random.

Roles will be announced in our Discord server.

The Circle is a select group of Loiterers (those who hold 20+ NFTs) including the team who control the project vault which will be initiated with a 10k ADA balance – In it the future plans of the project is discussed and plans for the investment of project funds will be discussed and brought to the other Loiterers to vote on. Sneak Peeks of collections will be shared here and every member will have to swear an oath of secrecy.

Loiter Squad

In front of you is a group of people equally dressed as well as you, almost as if this was a fashion show – some are dancing, riding around on skateboards, drinking, smoking, talking amongst each-other and generally enjoying life – you think to yourself (these are my type of people). As you turn the corner everyone stops and looks directly at you, the music is still playing but the silence is deafening…you hadn’t prepared what you were going to say to them but they all look at you as though you were about to deliver a speech.
Before you get a word out a deep voice beckons from the furthest end of the mini congregation of people – as you approach the voice heads turn to follow you almost in unison…behind the group of people is a nicely dressed guy sitting on a bench smoking, almost like a mafia boss but he’s beaming from ear to ear – before you can say anything he introduces himself and all the other people around…after introducing yourself to everyone and talking for a few minutes you immediately feel at home despite your house being in the opposite direction of this place you didn’t even know existed – before you know it you have a drink in your hand and your’e screaming the lyrics of MO BAMBA by Sheck Wes – somehow your’e having the best time you’ve had in a long time with a group of people you didn’t know existed an hour ago – they were already your friends though.
